A boil water order for the city of Caldwell has been terminated.
The city reports that the water is safe to drink after samples taken yesterday confirmed that there was no contamination.
On Monday, city crews closed water valves as part of a scheduled outage.
Additional valves were unexpectedly found to be closed so the planned valve closures led to a loss of water pressure in the mainline.
The city issued the boil water order out of what they say was an abundance of caution, and reiterate that the tests showed no contamination and it is safe to drink the water.
