Dan + Shay Are Learning From Kenny Chesney Here And Now

Dan + Shay’s single at country radio right now is “You” – the latest release from their 2021 album, “Good Things.”

Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney have spent their summer out on the road with Kenny Chesney’s Here And Now 2022 tour playing stadium’s all over the country.

While Dan + Shay have been on the road touring for a decade now, Shay admits that they have learned a thing or two from their time with Kenny. “I think the biggest thing that I’ve kind of been watching and we’ve probably learned from him is just how to really treat your crew. He does it at such an amazing level it’s just unbelievable…he takes everybody at the very end of the tour…I think they fly to the Caribbean and go on a vacation for like 2 weeks immediately after the last show. He just takes really good care of them”

Shay adds, “I think just watching him we’ve definitely learned a lot from that but even on stage he’s such a great performer. Just watching him…how he interacts with the crowd and really reaches to the very back, top you know person at the very end of the stadium and it’s just an incredible thing to watch and we’ve definitely learned a lot from him.”

Dan + Shay are in Denver this weekend with Kenny, Old Dominion and Carly Pearce as the Here And Now 2022 tour stops at Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday.
