Congrats to Alan Jackson – as He Announces That He’s Going To Be a Grandfather

Alan Jackson took to social media to announce that he’s going to be a grandfather!

The country legend posted “Our baby is having a baby. Denise and I can’t wait to meet our first grandson in December!”

Jackson’s middle daughter Ali is the expecting mom, as she and husband Sam await the arrival of their first child later this year.

When his grandson arrives we know that Alan will be toasting the event with his recently announced signature whiskey Silverbelly – which takes its name from Jackson’s signature cowboy hat – though many may think it’s white, the color is technically “silverbelly.”

AJ is also still out on the road playing dates on his Last Call: One More For The Road tour

Stops on the tour this week include St. Paul and Grand Forks.

Fans will be sending messages of congratulations to Grandpa Jackson as he’s singing the song he wrote as a tribute to his own father, “Drive (For Daddy Gene).”
