Jessica Willis Fisher’s Debut Solo Album – Brand New Day, is Available Now

Jessica Willis Fisher‘s debut solo album Brand New Day is out now!

Jessica, once a part of the musical family group The Willis Clan, and also known for appearing on America’s Got Talent and TLC’s reality show The Willis Family, is finding her own path these days with her new project Brand New Day.

She shares, “I’ve truly lived every word on this album. That’s why these songs are both so much more vulnerable and empowering for me.”

Of the 10 tracks on the album, 9 Jessica had a direct hand in writing, including 8 that she wrote by herself.

Jessica says “I think if someone said ‘Here, write 8 songs for an album it would sound maybe a little daunting but I love writing…I’ve been writing songs since I was 16, before that I was writing poetry and I was wanted to be an author.”

So when it comes to having that accomplishment Jessica happily says “Younger me would be very proud.”

While the music on Brand New Day is new to fans, they are actually tracks that Jessica has lived with for a while, “Some of the songs I’d written years ago, but didn’t really have a chance to share or share in a way that I would’ve been proud of.”

But as the music tells the story of her journey, there’s new songs as well, “I just love the combination that came together. There are 10 tracks total and it feels right at that…I wanted to be able to really connect and be passionate about all the songs.”

Brand New Day track list:

  1. “Brand New Day” (Jessica Willis Fisher)
  2. “Fire Song” (Jessica Willis Fisher, Jon Randall)
  3. “Hopelessly, Madly” (Jessica Willis Fisher)
  4. “Slow Me Down” (Jessica Willis Fisher)
  5. “Lucky One” (Jessica Willis Fisher)
  6. “My History” (Jessica Willis Fisher)
  7. “River Runaway” (Jessica Willis Fisher)
  8. “You Move Me” (Gordon Scott Kennedy, Pierce Ray Pettis)
  9. “Gone” (Jessica Willis Fisher)
  10. “October First” (Jessica Willis Fisher)

When it comes to fans connecting with her songs, Jessica says “If someone truly resonates with them, we both get to feel seen. Together, we know we are not alone as we begin again, each and every day.”
