Nampa City Councilwoman Sandi Levi to step down

Nampa City Councilwoman Sandi Levi will be stepping down from her position, effective May 2nd.

According to an emailed statement sent by Levi, she is stepping down because she will be marrying and moving outside of Nampa, which will make her ineligible to serve on the council, the statement said.

The Idaho Press reports, Levi was elected to the council’s fourth seat in 2015 and won reelection in 2019.

The city will be sharing more information in the coming days about filling Levi’s position

Levi has asked to be on the selection committee for finding her replacement.
