Boise State to make masks optional outside the classroom

Boise State will be making masks and face coverings optional outside the classroom beginning March 7th.

Citing steadily declining cases, the new guidance from the university will cover all administrative, athletic, event spaces as well as communal spaces including common areas, the library and rec center, the student union building and other campus buildings and residence halls.

Masks will still be required where instruction is taking place.

BSU explains, they recognize that many people hold strong opinions about masking, and those who feel more comfortable wearing a mask in spaces where it is not required should do so.
