A large fire burned down a house in Eagle on Wednesday afternoon, nearly leveling the structure completely.

No one was injured in the blaze, but “the home is completely lost,” according to firefighters.

The Idaho Statesman reports, the fire started around noon Wednesday, with the Eagle Fire Department responding to the 1300 block of Hidden Island Place.

No residents were home when the fire began. The fire was contained in about an hour, but the cleanup continued into the evening.

The cause of the fire was still being investigated Wednesday evening, Lewis said.
