EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT /11 AM
PDT/ TODAY TO 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/ SATURDAY…

* WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures of 100 to
112 in the lower valleys.

* WHERE…Much of southeast Oregon and southwest Idaho below
5000 feet.

* WHEN…From noon MDT /11 AM PDT/ Monday to 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/
Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Extreme heat will significantly increase the
potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those
working or participating in outdoor activities.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Overnight lows during this time frame
will only cool into the upper 60s to mid 70s and thus will
only offer limited relief from the heat.
