Vaccinations not a requirement for students at TVCC

Some public universities in Oregon will require students and staff to get the COVID-19 vaccine, but Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) in Ontario said it won’t issue a mandate.

TVCC explains, as for now – vaccinations are still a choice not a requirement, but the college is encouraging students and faculty to get vaccinated.

TVCC plans to offer in-person classes next fall semester, but also says they might still have some social distancing requirements.

Oregon said last week the vaccination rate is up to more than 50%. Here in Idaho that number is much lower, at around 34% of the population fully vaccinated.
