Gary Allan Drops Spirited New Video for “Waste of a Whiskey Drink” [Watch]

Gary Allan dropped a spirited new video for “Waste of a Whiskey Drink.”

Penned by Josh Kear, Hardy and Mark Holman, the song serves as a warning “shot” to fellow bar patrons.

“It’s about a girl that you just don’t want any of your friends to get tangled up with,” says Gary. “You’ve been there. And you’re telling him as he’s looking at her and thinking she’s cute . . . and you’re saying, ‘Man, just do something else because she’s a waste of a whiskey drink. Don’t do it.’”

Directed by Peter Zavadil, the new clip features Gary as a bartender at The Crying Wolf, a favorite dive bar in East Nashville.
