Exclusive Photo Gallery: Dollywood’s Harvest Festival Opens Through Halloween

Dolly Parton’s Harvest Festival at her Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., opened on Sept. 25. The fourth annual festival, which runs through Oct. 31, features the Great Pumpkin LumiNights light display, vivid seasonal foliage, pumpkin artwork and sculptures, colossal pumpkins that weight more than 1,000 pounds, and more than 800 concerts.

“We know folks are ready to get out and enjoy the colors of fall and the fresh, crisp Smoky Mountain air,” Dolly said in a release. “This year has been challenging for everyone, but we hope the comfort they feel from coming and visiting us gives them that warm, familiar feeling they’ve shared with their friends and loved ones for so many years here at Dollywood. We have a few surprises planned this year, and I think everyone will agree this is that special escape ‘back home’ we all need right now.”

Dollywood is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day of operation (Sept. 25- Oct. 31) during the Harvest Festival. The park is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the festival. For more information and a park operating calendar, visit www.dollywood.com.

Dollywood is one of the Top 10 best amusement parks in the world, according to Travels’ Choice Best of Awards in 2020.
