Female Artists Are Currently Ruling the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart

Female artists are currently ruling the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, which is an all-encompassing genre chart that utilizes radio-, streaming- and sales-based metrics to determine position.

This week’s Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart features six female artists, including the No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4 positions.

  • No. 1: Gabby Barrett – “I Hope”
  • No. 2: Luke Bryan – “One Margarita”
  • No. 3: Maddie & Tae – “Die From a Broken Heart”
  • No. 4: Maren Morris – “The Bones”
  • No. 5: Sam Hunt – “Hard to Forget”

  • No. 7: Miranda Lambert – “Bluebird”
  • No. 8: Morgan Wallen – “Chasin’ You”
  • No. 9: Locash – “One Big Country Song”

Notes

  • Gabby’s “I Hope” has been No. 1 on the chart for three consecutive weeks, while Maren’s “The Bones” held the top spot for 19 weeks prior to that.
  • Maddie & Tae’s “Die From a Broken Heart” is also No. 3 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, which is a radio-based chart.
  • Taylor Swift’s “Betty” debuted at No. 6 this week, so expect it to climb toward the top in the coming weeks.
  • Miranda’s “Bluebird” is also No. 7 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart this week, after topping the Airplay chart last week.
  • Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s “Happy Anywhere” debuted at No. 10 this week, which is a strong debut.
