Early Voting for Idaho Presidential Primary begins Monday

The last day to pre-register for the March 10th presidential primary in Idaho was Feb. 14th, but voters can still register on Election Day at their polling place.

The presidential primary for Democratic, Republican and Constitution party will all happen on March 10th, and 2020 marks a big change for Idaho Democrats.

The Idaho Press reports, in 2016, Democrats used the caucus format, but the Idaho Democratic Party shifted to the simpler primary system for this year.

Early voting in Ada County runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays beginning Monday (Feb. 24) to March 6th at the Ada County Elections Office, Boise City Hall and Meridian City Hall.

Canyon County’s early voting will take place at the Canyon County Elections Office in Caldwell – also beginning Monday – from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. thru March 6th.
