A man, wanted in Twin Falls, was shot and killed Tuesday after a wild chase through Elmore County.
The man was initially pulled over by Ada County deputies at 11 a.m. for a routine traffic stop, but, he drove off and got away.
The suspect was spotted in Elmore County and was chased by state and local officers. The dangerous, high-speed pursuit at times switched into oncoming traffic. And when the man’s car became disabled, he stole a pickup truck at gunpoint.
CBS 2 News reports, he was eventually shot by officers and died, despite lifesaving efforts.
Twin Falls Police say the man was wanted for “possibly two kidnappings” and was considered armed and dangerous
