The Boise State football team, ranked Nos. 15 and 16 this week in the Coaches and Associated Press Polls, respectively, returns to the road for the first time since the season opener, squaring off against UNLV, Saturday (Oct. 5).
The Broncos (4-0) and Rebels (1-3) are slated to kick at 8:30 p.m. (MT) at Sam Boyd Stadium.
Boise State leads the all-time series 7-3 and has won each of the last five meetings.
Boise State ranks in the top-10 nationally in third-down conversions both offensively and defensively. The Broncos are converting 53.2 percent of third-down chances, the seventh-best clip in the country, and allowing conversions at a rate of just 25.0 percent, the nation’s sixth-best mark. Boise State joins Ohio State, Oklahoma and Wake Forest as the only schools in the country to rank in the top 10 in each statistical category.
