Mountain View High School student killed in traffic accident has been identified

 

We now know the identity of a boy killed after he was struck by a truck while crossing Eagle Road near Easy Jet Drive Tuesday night.

Friends of 17-year-old Masen Burmester held a memorial, Wednesday night.

The vigil started in the parking lot of Mountain View High School, where many of the attendees held onto candles and red balloons.

CBS 2 News reports, some of Masen’s friends, including his twin brother, stood in the back of a pick-up truck and told stories about Masen.

The vigil later moved to the intersection of Eagle Road and Easy Jet Driver, where Masen was hit, Tuesday evening.

A cross was placed with Masen’s name on it.
