With teen vaping and e-cigarette use on the rise, the United Way of Treasure Valley is getting ready to host a conversation for parents and youth on vaping.
The Idaho 2017 Youth Risk Behavior Study says nearly half of all high school students have used an electronic vape product at least once in their lifetime.
Dr. Bonnie Halpern-Felsher will present information on e-cigarettes and youth nicotine use to parents and families to engage them in an educational and eye-opening discussion.
KIVI-TV reports, Dr. Halpern-Felsher will also answer audience questions. Teens and parents are both welcome to attend on Monday, (September 23) at the Jordan Ballroom at Boise State University from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
