Justin Moore Scores 8th No. 1 Single With “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home”

Justin Moore scored his eighth career No. 1 single as “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” ascended to the top spot on both the Billboard Country Airplay chart and Mediabase chart this week.

Co-penned by Justin, Jeremy Stover, Paul Digiovanni and Chase McGill, the new tune is the lead single from Justin’s fifth studio album, Late Nights & Longnecks, which dropped on July 26.

“I’m so very thankful for country radio, my team, and the fans,” says Justin. “Thank you so much for your talents, and tireless work on my behalf. I feel so blessed for this song to have been given this platform. This never gets old. You guys are the best. Cheers!”

The video for “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” features vignettes that depict first-responder situations, a military firefight and a school emergency. Directed by Cody Villalobos, a former EMT, the video utilizes real-life fire fighters and former police officers as actors.

Justin’s previous No. 1 single was 2017’s “Somebody Else Will,” which was featured on his 2016 album, Kinda Don’t Care.
