Risch: Mueller Announcement was a “Nothing Burger”

US Sen Jim Risch (R-ID)

Washington DC (670 KBOI News) – Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller says he’s said all he’s going to say…and if Congress calls him to testify about his report on accusations that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to steal the 2016 election, the report will speak for itself.

So what was the big deal about this morning’s announcement by Mueller? Idaho Senator Jim Risch says it was a “Nothing Burger”.

But now that the book is closed on the investigation, will the issue just go away? Risch says don’t hold your breath.

“I have never seen the hate and the vitriol that exists for a person, like exists for Donald Trump,” said Risch.  “People that I work with in other capacities in the Senate, people who generally, I think, are people with reasonable judgment, just completely lose it when it comes to Trump.”

Risch says he agrees with Congressman Russ Fulcher, that an impeachment is likely, because the Democrats have too much invested in opposing President Trump at all costs.
