Boise Man Arrested for Threatening Woman with Gun, Knocking Phone Out of Her Hand

Boise (670 KBOI) – A preliminary hearing for a Boise man charged with threatening a woman with a gun is scheduled for April 18th.

The Idaho Press is reporting Edward Greene was arrested Friday after police responded to a 911 call at an apartment off Parkcenter Boulevard in East Boise.

Greene is accused of threatening the woman, and when she tried to call for help, knocking the phone out of her hand. The two were not physically fighting when police got there, but Greene was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of battery with the intent to commit a serious felony.

He also faces a misdemeanor charge of intentional destruction of a telecommunication device.
