Treefort Music Fest brought dozens of popular music acts to Boise, but e-scooters were also a big hit during the five-day event.
According to data from the city of Boise, 3,475 riders used the devices during Treefort, which is a 38 percent increase from the week prior.
The Idaho Press reports, there are currently only 500 e-scooters allowed in the city of Boise from two companies, Bird and Lime, but a third company Spin is set to bring another 250 in the coming weeks. The scooters have been a popular form of transportation since they have been introduced, particularly in downtown Boise and near Boise State University.
