A woman is dead after Idaho State Police say a man fell asleep at the wheel and hit another car head on, driving on State Highway 46, Saturday morning.
The male driver was traveling southbound, just after 630 a.m. before falling asleep, crossing the center lane, and hitting another car, head on.
The driver of the other car, Jessie Otton of Twin Falls died at the scene of the crash.
Otton’s juvenile passenger was transported by air-ambulance to Boise.
CBS 2 news reports, Highway 26 was blocked for approximately two and half hours.
