Nampa (670 KBOI News) – Basketball season is nearing an end, for high schools and colleges, but by tip off of the season next fall, kids in Nampa could have a new place to work on their three pointers and free throws.
The Idaho Statesman is reporting groundbreaking for a new 33,000 square foot basketball facility was Friday. The facility would also include a dance studio, and a speed and agility center.
It’ll be called Mettle Sports, and it’s being built by the Keller family, using a $3-million line of credit by Cap Ed Credit Union. It’s at 3001 East Badger Drive.
Teams will be able to rent the space for practices, and the facility will be the new home to the Crash the Boards basketball tournaments, which hosts 24 tournaments throughout the year.
