Man Arrested for Stealing Wallet From Boise Airport Security Conveyor

Boise (670 KBOI News) – An alleged would-be wallet thief is spending New Year’s Eve in the Ada County Jail, charged with felony grand theft.

According to the Idaho Statesman, Yousef Ramadan was taken off his Alaska Airlines flight Friday, after airport security video showed him allegedly stealing a wallet from the security conveyor belt.

Police identified Ramadan from the video, then alerted the pilot, who delayed the flight about 15 minutes, until he could be removed from the plane.

The wallet was found later in a restroom…all the cash was gone.

Where Ramadan is from, and where he was headed was not mentioned.
