Boise (670 KBOI News) – A man who admitted he shot at a crowd of people near a West Boise gas station, then tried to run one person over, will spend at least the next two years behind bars.
The Idaho Press is reporting Cody Wentworth of Meridian was given 2 to 4 years in prison Wednesday, after he pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated assault.
It happened early on the morning of June 27th…Wentworth admitted shooting at a crowd of people at the corner of Fairview and Mitchell.
He originally faced an enhancement for the use of a deadly weapon, but he plea bargained the charge down.
Wentworth has a prior conviction on drug charges in Payette County…that was in 2012.
