UPDATED: 16-Year Old Shooting Victim in Nampa Identified

Boise (670 KBOI News) – Here’s an update on a story we’ve had for you today.

The Ada County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the 16-year old Nampa boy killed in a shooting overnight.

Roberto Angel Gomez died of multiple gunshot wounds…Nampa Police are investigating the incident.

What we know at this time is that the call came in around 10:30, and officers responded to the area near 11th Avenue North and Powell Avenue.

Gomez was taken to St. Al’s, but died just after 11:00.

Nampa Police are interviewing witnesses and coming up with leads.
