Boise (670 KBOI News) – A California man is in the Ada County Jail this afternoon, charged with felony armed robbery, after a bank robbery this morning.

Boise Police say Timothy Freegard, of Galt California, robbed a bank near the intersection of Fairview and Cole Road just after 10 am.

After he drove off, officers began a search, and were told by a Garden City detective that a man matching Freegard’s description had been spotted driving near the intersection of Fairview and Curtis.

Officers stopped and arrested him…further investigation turned up evidence linking him to the robbery.

He was charged and booked into the Ada County Jail.
