Meridian (670 KBOI News) – Here’s an update on a story we had for you last week.

The driver of one of the semis involved in a deadly crash near Twin Falls on I-84 July 3rd was driving on a suspended license.

The Idaho Press is reporting it happened in a construction zone where all westbound lanes were closed, and westbound traffic was being diverted onto the eastbound lanes.

Idaho State Police investigators say David Westmore crossed the center line, and his semi crashed head-on into one bring driven by Corey McCaslin. Westmore’s Oregon drivers’ license had been suspended until further notice, back in March.

McCaslin was killed in the crash.

Both men were tested for drugs, but those results aren’t back yet.
