Baby Boy Who Drowned in Canyon County Irrigation Canal Was Visiting From Utah

 

Nampa (670 KBOI News) – We know a little more about the baby boy who drowned in a Canyon County irrigation canal Monday.

According to a Canyon County press release, the boy was 21-month old Spencer Arnold, whose family was visiting from Wood Cross, Utah.

Spencer was playing with other kids in the yard of the home on McDermott Road, when he was able to get out of the yard, and make his way to the canal. He was found about 3/4 of a mile from the home. Rescuers toook him to the hospital, where he died.

It’s being called an accidental drowning.
