Nampa (670 KBOI News) – The 52nd Annual God and Country Festival is tomorrow at the Idaho Center in Nampa. Doors open at 4:00, and the entertainment starts at 5:00.
David Ferdinand is the president of the God and Country Association…he says the keynote speaker is a man who most people would not believe he could accomplish all he has.
“Nick Vujicic, this guy was born without arms or legs, and bullied while he was a child, he thought about taking his own life when he was 10 years old,” said Ferdinand. “But he’s using that message to make sure that everyone understands you can do it. If he can do it with no arms and no legs, there are all kinds of ways to make your life worthwhile.”
Also on the ticket, Nashville-based Gospel-pop band Unspoken and Boise’s own Maddie Zahm, who recently had a successful run on American Idol.
Admission is free, parking will set you back $5, unless you have an Idaho State Parks Passport sticker on your windshield. If you do, parking is free.
