Washington DC (670 KBOI News) – As a whole, the American Conservative Union likes Idaho’s Congressional delegation.
The Washington-based think tank released its 2017 ratings, based on 21 Senate votes and 25 House votes. Each member’s score was based on how it reflected a “commitment to conservative principles”, according to the group’s website.
Analyst Larry Hart said Idaho’s two Senators, Mike Crapo and Jim Risch, each scored 84% in 2017. He said that was a little down for both men, who have lifetime scores of 92% and 94% respectively.
It was a bit more divided on the House side, with the 1st District’s Raúl Labrador scoring a 100%, while his 2nd District colleague, Mike Simpson, scored a 65%.
