Nampa (670 KBOI News) – The family of the woman killed in the Tuesday morning stabbing attack turned officer-involved shooting in Nampa is asking for privacy, so they can come to grips with what happened.
Kymberlee Larsen’s family issued a statement through the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, says spokesman Joe Decker.
“The family said they’d like to thank the community, neighbors and friends who supported them during this difficult time,” said Decker. “They want to acknowledge the first responders, for their swift and justified actions, that undoubtedly saved their loved ones from further tragedy, during the senseless event. They’re asking for prayers during this time of need, and appreciate their privacy, as they continue to heal.”
Go Fund Me accounts have been set up to help cover the costs of Kymberlee, as well as her sister Chelsea and her mother, Julianna Flowers…they were wounded in the stabbing attack.
The family is asking anyone who wants to donate diapers, formula or clothing to help Kymberlee’s baby, to drop them off at the Nampa Police Department.
