“Constructionmageddon” coming to the Ada County Highway District

Boise (670- KBOI News) – It’s now officially Spring…which means warmer temperatures and longer days are just around the corner.

And that means road work is just about to kick off for the Ada County Highway District.  Spokeswoman Nicole DuBois says this is going to be the busiest summer ever for road work.

In fact, they’re calling it “Construction-mageddon”.

“We have a map where people can go and see where the road work is occurring, what it entails and when they can expect it to be completed,”: said DuBois.  “It is available on our website, at www.achdidaho.org.”

All those projects are in addition to their usual chip sealing project that happens every summer.  DuBois says the best thing to do is just stay informed, plan extra time, and find alternate routes.
