Stabbing Suspect Arrested

Boise (670 KBOI News) – A Boise man is under arrest in the Ada County Jail, charged with stabbing another man at a Hotel overnight.

Haley Williams with the Boise Police Department says it started with a call to the America’s Best Value Inn on Sunrise Rim, near the Boise airport, where a number of people had apparently gotten into a fight.

In the process, one man was stabbed.

“Evidence indicated the suspect was Diemere Blount, and he was located a short time later, in a vehicle near Franklin and Maple Grove” said Williams.  “Police were ale to identify him, and make a traffic stop.”

Blount was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail.  He’s expected to be arraigned soon.

The unidentified 19-year old victim was taken to the hospital with what Williams says are non-life threatening injuries.

While there, police investigated several other reports of suspected drug activity at the hotel.
