Man Arrested for DUI, Blood Alcohol 3 Times of Legal Limit

Boise (670 KBOI) – A Mountain Home man is cooling his heels in the Ada County Jail after his second DUI in a month.

According to the Idaho Statesman, Eric Prince was taken down by a police dog Monday afternoon after he hit another vehicle in an East Boise industrial park, then a building.

A witness told police Prince had been violent and threatening, and had what appeared to be a knife. Police ordered him to drop it, which he did at first, but then picked it up again and began walking toward police.

A police dog was then able to subdue Prince long enough for officers to disarmhim and put him in cuffs…the knife turned out to be a box cutter.

Prince was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail…his blood alcohol content was .299…more than three times the legal limit.

He’s charged with four felony counts of felony Aggravated Assault, as well as misdemeanor DUI and misdemeanor resisting officers.
