Listen to Dan + Shay’s New Single, “Tequila”

Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay are back on the radio airwaves with a new single, “Tequila,” which looks to be the duo’s first offering from their as-of-yet-announced third studio album.

The reflective ballad was co-penned by Dan, Jordan Reynolds and Nicolle Galyon.

“We love breaking it down in our live shows to an acoustic guitar, a piano and just the vocals,” says Dan. “The song starts with just Shay’s voice so the lyrics can really sink in. We’re really proud of the way the lyrics turned out on this one. We fell like the message takes people back to a certain place.”
