Boise Man Busted in Oregon on Drug Charges

A Boise man was arrested in Oregon after police found over 40 pounds of marijuana and marijuana extracts in his car.

Oregon State Police report Jeffery Heiner, of Boise was booked into the Deschutes County Jail on multiple charges.

Oregon State Police pulled Heiner on U.S. Highway 97 near milepost 143. Police said Heiner was driving impaired, and a police K-9 made a positive alert on the vehicle.

During a search of the car, officers found more than 40 pounds of marijuana and marijuana extracts, as well as Xanax, a controlled substance, and a concealed handgun.

Police are also investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a vehicle Heiner possibly abandoned in La Pine earlier that day.
