Boise (670 KBOI News) – All drivers’ license offices in Idaho are open for business again — except for in Grangeville — after some kind of computer glitch forced them to close Tuesday.
DMV Administrator Alberto Gonzalez told reporters today that the ITD’s computer system was stable enough to allow DMV offices to start serving customers again. But he said if you don’t absolutely have to go in today, please wait a few more days so they can be sure everything’s running well.
Operations Manager Bonnie Fogdall said the glitch may have been due to some changes they made to the ITD’s computer system Monday. She didn’t go into specifics, but said they continue to work to find out what caused the system to overload.
