Big & Rich Fill In for Kix Brooks on This Weekend’s “American Country Countdown”

Big & Rich will release their upcoming album, Did It For The Party, on Sept. 15, but you don’t have to wait until then to party with the duo.

Big & Rich’s Big Kenny Alphin and John Rich will co-host this weekend’s American Country Countdown, while regular host Kix Brooks gets a little R&R in the Alaskan wilderness.

In addition to featured segments with Old Dominion, Kenny Chesney and Justin Moore, Big & Rich get to experience the rare honor of counting down their own single, “California,” which is currently No. 26 on the chart.

“I just can’t believe Kix let us take over his show,” said John. “He’s trusting us with the sacred task of counting down this week’s Top 30 songs in country music.

“Thanks, Kix, for the vote of confidence,” added Big Kenny. “We had a blast, dude.”

Check out a few pics of Big Kenny and John in action on the set, and tune in to American Country Countdown this weekend to find out the Top 30 country songs of the week.
