Jason Aldean Scores 19th No. 1 With “Any Ol’ Barstool”—Announces New Single, “They Don’t Know” [Listen]

Jason Aldean scored the 19th No. 1 song of his career with “Any Ol’ Barstool,” which topped both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay chart this week.

On the heels of the third consecutive No. 1 from his 2016 record, They Don’t Know, Jason announced that the album’s title track will be his new single.

“When I first heard the song, it really made me think about how rural communities can come across misunderstood,” said Jason in a release. “It’s a classic scenario in movies, a Hollywood producer films in small towns and packs in every stereotype you can imagine. This song wraps all those feelings together perfectly and basically says not to judge a book by its cover. I relate to that growing up in the backwoods of Georgia.”

Jason will return to the road on April 17 as his They Don’t Know Tour begins a string of spring and summer dates with special guests Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver.
