New Favorite Thing!!! Kalsarikannit (pronounced cal-sar-y-cuhn-eet)

Finland is next on our list to visit.  The country’s tourism board just introduced us to a word aptly describing life in 2017: Kalsarikannit (pronounced cal-sar-y-cuhn-eet), defined as “the feeling when you are going to get drunk home alone in your underwear with no intention of going out.”

Rejoice, homebodies and misanthropes, for this is your new guideline to living well.

Is it a noun? A verb? Does one kalsarikannit, or does one take a kalsarikannit? Who cares, frankly — turns out my house has been a temple to kalsarikannit this entire time. I intend to spend every weekend in pursuit of holiness. See ya later, pants.
