As a kid, I loved to help my Dad put up our Christmas lights. Nothing fancy, just a single string, no more than 20 feet across the front edge of our roof. But to my young eyes, it was the best looking display of lights EVER! We had to screw an electric plug converter into the porch light socket, and Dad had to get the ladder out and climb up on the roof, which made it seem like a bigger project than it really was! So why am I telling you about this in February? Because it’s February…and some of you still have your Christmas lights up! I see them on my drive home and I love you for it, because it brings back such good memories. (Well, except for that one time when Dad fell off the roof!)
