Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett & Florida Georgia Line Pick Up Multiple Nominations for American Music Awards

Nominations for the fan-voted American Music Awards were announced this morning (Oct. 10) across multiple platforms, including on Good Morning America, Snapchat and ABC News.

Carrie Underwood picked up three nominations (Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Country Artist, Favorite Country Album). Carrie was the lone country star nominated in the all-genre Artist of the Year category where she’ll face-off against Adele, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and more.

Luke Bryan copped two nominations (Favorite Male Country Artist, Favorite Country Album), as did Florida Georgia Line (Favorite Country Duo/Group, Favorite Country Song) and Thomas Rhett (Favorite Male Country Artist, Favorite Country Song).

Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, Cam, Old Dominion, Zac Brown Band, Chris Stapleton and Tim McGraw picked up one nomination.

Voting opens today in all categories except New Artist of the Year, which will open on Nov. 2. Fans can vote for each category—once per day—via amavote.com and/or by posting a tweet that includes the nominee’s Twitter handle, the category name and #AMAs within the post.
