Watch Mickey Guyton’s Upbeat Performance of “Heartbreak Song” on ‘Today’

Mickey Guyton is currently out promoting her new single, “Heartbreak Song,” and this morning (Sept. 21) the vibrant singer performed the uptempo song on the Today Show’s Citi Concert Series.

Mickey, who released her debut single, “Better Than You Left Me,” in 2015 along with her self-titled EP, was nominated this past April for her first-ever ACM Award in the New Female Vocalist of the Year category.

Prior to her performance on Today, Mickey talked with hosts, Hoda and Kathie Lee about a once in a lifetime performance at the White House in front of President and Mrs. Obama—early on in her career.

“It was probably one of the most nerve-wracking moments of my life,” she tells the hosts. “I was out in D.C. for four days and I didn’t eat for those four days. I was a nervous wreck. It was so incredible.”
