Kelsea Ballerini Performs “Dibs” Outside The Bluebird Cafe for Surprised Fans

Tonight (Aug. 18), out in front of the as-seen-on-TV Bluebird Cafe, headliner Kelsea Ballerini stepped out and delighted fans waiting in line with a surprise performance of her No. 1 song “Dibs.” Watch a video of the impromptu performance right here:

After finishing the songs, Kelsea signed a few quick autographs and headed back in to prepare for the main event, “In the Round with Kelsea Ballerini & Friends,” a benefit for Music Makes Us.

The friends that performed with Kelsea were hit songwriter Luke Laird, singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson and songwriter Dave Barnes. Surprise performers included Nashville-based former American Idol contestants Amelia Eisenhauer and Tristan McIntosh as well as Kelsea’s boyfriend, Australian singer-songwriter Morgan Evans.

Music Makes Us is a joint effort of Metro Nashville Public Schools, Nashville Mayor Megan Barry, the music industry and community leaders which emphasizes the importance of music education in schools.
