Check Out the Lyric Video to Dolly Parton’s New Song “Outside Your Door”

Dolly Parton is having a milestone year. In January, she turned 70 years old. In May, she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with husband Carl Dean. In June, she embarked on a 60-plus-city tour of the U.S. and Canada—her biggest tour in 25 years. And on August 10, Dolly will release her 43rd solo album, Pure and Simple.

“All the songs on the album are love songs,” says Dolly to Nash Country Daily. “I have never done an album of all love songs. Usually, I do some weird, off-the-wall thing or a story song for an album. But that’s not how this one turned out. I put one song on here called ‘Mama,’ which is about a mother’s love. But all the rest are relationship-type songs. I think this is going to make a great album.”

Check out the new lyric video for “Outside Your Door,” one of the 10 songs on Dolly’s upcoming album, Pure and Simple.
