What’s your “passion?” I have this discussion with my children frequently. I want them to find something that excites them…something that consumes nearly all of their waking moments…something that will make them stay up late at night, and then spring out of bed first thing in the morning! Of course, it needs to be legal, moral, and ethical…and preferably something that will make a difference in people’s lives and hopefully improve our world. I know this is challenging for them to consider, but I want them to discover their “passion” before they get to the point that many of us have reached, where “passion” gets replaced by practicality and necessity…where we spend all of our time working just to pay the mortgage and keep food on the table. We all need to discover something about which we’re passionate. Maybe it’s different than it was when we were kids…maybe OUR kids ARE our passion! I’m challenging myself to discover my “passion.” What’s yours?
