TAP that APP (Cory and Jeni’s weekly smart phone app review)

Hello out there in Treasure Valley land!

Cory and I started a new feature this week called “Tap that App” where we each pick an app, try it out for the week, and then let you know what we thought of it. In case you missed it, here are the First 2 Apps:

Jeni’s app for the week is: FlipLip Voice Changer

This app was so much fun I couldn’t stop sending people silly videos (which may or may not be a good thing). With half a dozen voices to choose from you can change a recorded message of your voice to send a silly or even ominous sounding message to someone. What makes it even better are the Monthy Python style cartoons that you can insert your face into and really SELL IT!

Here is an example

Cory’s App of the week: Carrr Matey!

An extremely useful app if you are someone that forgets where you parked on a fairly regular basis, travel to unfamiliar territory, or are just kind of flaky.

When you get out of the car you “dock your boat” which is a way of tagging where it is, precicely, through gps. It’s very accurate and will get you back to your car.

It was a bit disappointing though.

We were hoping the app would feature a salty pirate voice to lead you back to the car. It did not. We were bummed.
