Hello out there, Treasure Valley!

Hello out there, Treasure Valley! Cory and Jeni here with our first ever station blog.

We just celebrated a year of being together as the morning show and I (Jeni) have finally stopped being paranoid about getting fired every day for sticking my foot in my mouth. It turns out you guys seem to like it. It also turns out that Cory enjoys having someone give him a hard time on a daily basis…so it all works out.

We have a lot going on in the studio besides our normal shenanigans. I really wish sometimes that we had a webcam hooked up (and then other days I am EXTREMELY glad we don’t).

This Friday, our 6th stop on the “Tag you’re it” tour, takes us to our title sponsor for the tour, Miracle Tire. We try to do something unique with each location and this will be no exception. All morning long we will have Willie Nelson tickets to give away! If you have been listening then you probably know that Willie coming to town is more exciting to me than any concert we have had so far. We grew up on Willie, Celebrated Christmas every year with his Pretty Paper album and played his songs on the guitar. I’m just saying, its a BIG deal.

Another big deal…The 50th annual ACMs this Sunday! This is looking epic from what we have gathered so far. Not only are the acts going to be amazing but Cory and I will be hanging around backstage waiting to tell you how you can win a Mountain Home Country Music Festival package on Monday morning. Only those of you that are watching the ACMs will know…cuz we’re devious like that.

We hope to see you out at the bandshell in Julia Davis on Saturday morning for the MS walk. We will be walking from 8-10am. Come out and support the fight!

Stay Classy, Treasure Valley!
